Training like a rectangle

About

Kate is from Sydney, Australia, and fell in love with running in 2012 when she decided, for no particular reason that she can remember, to run a marathon. That one goal turned into a love affair with running that keeps her sane during the day, and fuels the blog at night.

You are doing better than me… 29 years to realise i’m never going to have pin thin legs. Toned and tight is all I can aspire for :)

    Ps – great abs!

I actually think your rectangle shape is pretty awesome! I wish MY abs looked like that! Yeah…that’s one part of my body I would change…I want a flatter tummy…everything goes straight to my tummy! I also want skinnier arms. But I deal with it! lol!

Lol, thanks Jenna – I’m cool with my rectangle most days :-D . I know it’s hard when you want to beef up – especially when you’re a role model to children (your nannying job and my tutoring stuff) xx

kate, i LUV this post!! mostly because i relate to every word…i’ve always been most annoyed with this middle of mine. i’m box shaped and no matter wat i’ll never have the flat little itty bitty middle. and seriously, after i get my nom nom on it looks like i have a food baby! :)
but i’ve done wat u did/do…i ask myself, “well, wat is ur body able to DO for u?” and then when i find myself a bit envious of another woman and her flat as a pancake stomach i think, “well, do u think i could run faster than her??” hehe.

Meanwhile, she’s sussing out your gorgeous skinny arms and legs, not thinking about her tummy at all! And damn straight you can run faster than them. Does anyone run faster than you?!
