My Sweat Turns my Bed Sheets Pink

Kate is from Sydney, Australia, and fell in love with running in 2012 when she decided, for no particular reason that she can remember, to run a marathon. That one goal turned into a love affair with running that keeps her sane during the day, and fuels the blog at night.

    Yum, I love Pad Thai!
Those are great search terms :)

The first post-marathon run is nice, no goals just take it easy, have fun and enjoy the run.

Oh my gosh, those search terms are ridiculous! I love it! Especially the vampire one! I can’t really think of the dumbest question ive ever been asked , but ppl always ask me why I “go by Jenna.” when I tell them “bc that’s my name??” they always reply “oh, I thought it would be jennifer or something?” ….. Nope. LOL I’m glad the chiro is helping you out and you’re feeling well!! Have a great sleep! Love ya!

    • Kate

I get that too – ‘aren’t you Katherine?’ – NO. Thanks dear :-)

    • Kate

No – see YOU tomorrow! Also – if you want a lift, I’m driving there. Will pick up the car Sunday.

  • Danielle @ Itsaharleyyylife

abraham lincoln vampire hunter breaking tree … hahaha some of these are hilarious. The other day Eric and I were hanging out and I went to go look at the search terms for my blog.. we laughed for like 10 minutes straight. too funny!

    • Kate

How good is it?! I could waste hours staring at those search terms.

  • Kat @ S& F

Yay you’re back in it! I’m still so proud of you! I can only imagine how stiff you feel. Those searches are HIL-ARIOUS! How did you find that btw, I’m slow ;)

Thanks Kat! Google analytics – traffic source ;-)

I’m not sure about the dumbest question I’ve ever been asked, although I am sure I have asked more than my fair share… I did find out that someone had come across my blog while searching ’1 vegemite sandwich for lunch everyday?’
Which is kind of weird because I can’t eat bread, let alone sandwiches. I do however have an unashamed love of Vegemite, especially just licking it off the spoon…yeah, I’m gross.
So happy that you had a great run! and so soon after your marathon :) You are a rockstar miss :)

Vegemite is amazing, but I can’t do it without bread. Thanks Amy!

  • Jenelle

haha forty day cake…I need some of THAT! I get the most random search items too!

    • Kate

      Cake party?

  • Cait the Arty Runnerchick

YAY for the first run back!! glad u’re taking care of Kate Legs tho with the TLC, they done u good. ;)
can i make my sweat turn my sheets lime green, it’s my fav color. hehe.
and i’m DROOLING over ur pad thai, such a soft spot in my heart for that noodle dish…send me a doggie bag please??

    • Kate

They did – I am a little proud of these beaten up legs (and my blistered toes!). Lime green sweat…delicious! Sure thing – maybe we could meet halfway – trip to Thailand?

  • Mardi

Hahaha – I bet you google searched number 8 YOURSELF ;)

The dumbest question I can remember anyone asking me (and I have had plenty) was years ago when I was playing cards with a friend. It was one of those games with lots of confusing rules about wild cards and reversing play. She had one card left in her hand, and asked me which card should she play?

I have been so inspired by your marathon that I have ramped up my own running this week. I am planning (maybe!!!) to run to work at the end of the November. It is 17km. I am currently running 12km, so we shall see.

The worst long time I have spent in a library wasn’t studying – it was stock taking. So damn boring…..

    Hope you are resting up.

    • Kate

Thanks Mardi! What a great goal! 17km is a nice number. Once you do that, I am so going to make your run a half with me :-)

  • Abby @ BackAtSquareZero

    Love the searches.
    My favorite recently had been.
Vitamins to make my butt big,
I don’t know, but if these are out there I want them.
    huge hips, flat ass.

Haha! Idiot google user, I’m judging them already. Hope they stayed on your site, they could have learnt a lot!
