Mindy the Fit Nut


Kate is from Sydney, Australia, and fell in love with running in 2012 when she decided, for no particular reason that she can remember, to run a marathon. That one goal turned into a love affair with running that keeps her sane during the day, and fuels the blog at night.

      Neither! I’m not sue I could hack it, especially on longer runs, but I like the idea.

    I love dates as one of my fuel foods too! A hit of sugar in healthy, yummy little bundle. I love Mindy’s advice to newcomers, and it is certainly something that even longer term runners need to remember. I know I’m never going to win a race, but I remember that I love the run for the run itself, and what I get out of each footstep rather than where I come in the pack.
