Looking Back

About

Kate is from Sydney, Australia, and fell in love with running in 2012 when she decided, for no particular reason that she can remember, to run a marathon. That one goal turned into a love affair with running that keeps her sane during the day, and fuels the blog at night.

You are totally easy to root for. :) I loved your post today. Lizzy loves you back. :) When I come to Australia, I am coming to see you. Don’t ask me when that is, but I am coming.

What can I do this year that I could not last year….run at least 6 miles. The thought never even crossed my mind then.

I am feeling good about my new friends also. :) :) :)

You are fantastic! Yes – draft got done; such a relief. Though in a couple of weeks it will be a push to get the final version in. Mr The Rake is going to have no idea what to do with me in the house. Lucky I have lots of plans for more running! As you probably know all too well, there always has to be something on the horizon.

Kate, I’m so happy that I found you through twitter and came across your website! You are such an inspiration, and I can’t wait to hear all about your marathon! I am hoping to run one someday, but my plans have been put on hold for the moment because I’m expecting a baby. So I love reading blogs where I can live vicariously through the marathon goals of others :)

Thanks so much Emma – I love meeting new people via Twitter, and I’m excited to have found you and your site as well! Congratulations – how long until you get to meet bub? That’s fantastic. I know what you mean – I read through other journeys and race caps so often – my favourite way to spend spare time (runner nut much?!)

Thanks!! I’m due on Feb. 28th but his birth is going to be scheduled due so I’m thinking that he may come a little earlier! I’m at 20 weeks right now, so halfway there! I can’t wait to get my body back and meet the little guy – I’m sure it will go by faster than I can even imagine!
