It’s about your feet

Kate is from Sydney, Australia, and fell in love with running in 2012 when she decided, for no particular reason that she can remember, to run a marathon. That one goal turned into a love affair with running that keeps her sane during the day, and fuels the blog at night.

You’re a drug mule!!! hahaha, just kidding! I’m sorry your foot still has issues. I remember seeing your post marathon blisters pic on Instagram… Oh, and let me know if that essential oils works for le’ zits. My face is like a teenage girl lately. I’m actually trying a natural detox to see if it will help. Thanks for the shout out, Kate! I can’t wait to read all the other pages you shouted out, seems like a fabulous group of ladies. Happy Wednesday!

Hell yes! Oh my yes – when I dirtied instagram. Will let you know – though…it might be really obvious, but I find that if any sweat dries on my face, I end up looking like the before pictures in the proactive ads – life seemed better after I started washing my face immediately post workout. Running is so gross. Happy Thursday :-)

Yay for our girls! Sweatpink all the way! Yay G and Kierston! I definitely have runners’ feet and have to make sure to stay up on the callusses or they turn into blisters for me…with my first half in less than 2 weeks I need to make sure they are prepared~

Absolutely! I am thinking of you and that half – very much looking forward to the recap ;-)

  • Amy Lauren

Thanks for the shoutout… maybe I should try that stuff, my feet look like a hot mess but I think that’s every runner’s feet, lol.

A lot of blogs inspire me but also people in my running group, we have a guy who has lost 100 pounds and survived a diabetic coma and melanoma, other people who have lost weight or overcome things to run, it is really inspiring to see someone like that finish a half marathon or longer!

Any time :-) . I’m kind of proud of my gross feet – it’s when things hurt that they irritate me. Your running group sounds incredible.

  • Jenna

Omg! Your poor toesies!!! Ouch!! So sorry! I really hope that the stuff starts to he them up as the days go!! Yesterday my inspiration came from the rake cam shot after taking his pants off. I’m still dying! Love u girl!

    • Kate

Thanks Jenna! I’m glad I gave you a giggle :-) . You’ll have to meet him one of these days – my sarcastic, funny, grouchy man.

  • Jesica @rUnladylike

Thanks so much for the shout-out, Kate! Your support and encouragement is so awesome! You are such a great example of why the running community is the best group of people on the planet!

I’m so sorry to hear about your feet. That picture of your toe has me hurting! Ouch!!! Get better soon!

Blisters, chafing, saddle sores… sports people are gross, and endurance seems to be worst! You know I love your blog, and you can have a link any time!

  • Cait the Arty Runnerchick

woop to the woop to the woop!! i can’t wait for u to get ur shirts and show me YOUR latest photos….i love u, but i HATE staring at my mug, so i’m going to be the runnerchick who is less than stoked that instead of a Kate picture i’m stuck looking at a Cait picture. ;) haha…see wat i did there. ;)

    • Kate

You know I’ll be taking a zillion photos in my new shirt! I love me a good Cait picture :-P

  • Jenelle @ MummyLovesToRun

Awww thanks for the shout out – you are gold!!!! :=)

I love the foot shot. I have totally hideous, dried up yucky feet. Everytime I remove the 100 layers of skin and sore spots I promise I will never let them get that bad again but 2 weeks later they are unsightly AGAIN!

That oil sounds good! The Mr Rake must be so relieved that you have it on hand… You never know when a case of “Jock Itch” might strike!!!

Bahaha I don’t even promise myself. My poor chiro grimaces every time I take my shoes off. I was surprised at how good the oil was. …you may be the only reader to know what ‘jock itch’ means!

  • Kierston

Yeeee!!! Thanks for the shout out my friend!!! :) :) :)

Your poor feet! I’ve had blisters on my feet as a result of running…but only once and I didn’t use anything….Make me think I should have lol
