I love you, and your blog.

Kate is from Sydney, Australia, and fell in love with running in 2012 when she decided, for no particular reason that she can remember, to run a marathon. That one goal turned into a love affair with running that keeps her sane during the day, and fuels the blog at night.

Like the idea that you are thinking of getting a dog – what type? One you can run with I am sure! A kg of yogurt is nearly as bad a 150g of nougat – lol!! You body was clearly craving something … calcium….sugar?? I have a complete addiction to nuts of any kind so can completely relate to the yogurt thing. All the best with the 10km this Sunday.

Thanks Robyn. We can’t have a dog in our apartment, but one day, one day, we will. It will be a BIG dog – no ankle biters allowed :-) . And of course I’ll take it running – but don’t tell Rake. If he wants a dog (I can live without), he is responsible for all the cleaning involved.

Everything about this post makes me smile. The fact that you ran it hung over is even better. My next race is next weekend. I haven’t raced in about 2 months so it should be interesting. LOL and by interesting I mean the weather currently says its supposed to be 10…

Wow, awesome job on your 24 minute 5k- you can definitely slice off 20 more seconds! And thanks for the shout out! I have a half in two weeks although I still feel like I’m in recovery mode from the full, so we’ll see what happens… :)

You did an amazing job on you 5K! Thank you so much for spreading the word about Kyle’s Krusade run! It has been a huge success, largely in part from the support and kindness of people like you. Have a wonderful weekend Kate.

Thanks Lisa. It’s such a great cause. Thank you for organising it; I hope we raised plenty to hand over to the family.

Great job on your 5k! That’s a great time for doing it on a treadmill! For me it would be too easy to hit the “slow down” button.

Thanks for including my post. I hope you decide to get a dog. They make great running partners!

Funny that you should mention the food. Someone gave me a box of Club crackers, which I absolutely LOVE! I will be running a virtual race a the end of March. Although I was not expecting anything to happen for Valentines Day, I got flowers & candy.
